Safari Tents and Chalets
Bundox Safari Lodge offers safari tents and thatched chalets. Each unit has a fan, a seating area, and an en suite bathroom. Some tents include electric blankets. There are no fridges or TVs. The Hippo Chalet has an outdoor soaking tub and a private deck. Tent 6 is in thick bush with limited views. Most tents provide direct views of the bush.
Included Meals and Dining
Guests receive breakfast and dinner, both included in the rate. The chef prepares South African meals that are tasty and filling. You can eat while watching the sunset and listening to the bush sounds. BBQ facilities are also available for use.
Pool, Spa, and Activities
The outdoor swimming pool has a view and is sometimes visited by elephants drinking from it. Sun loungers and umbrellas are provided. The spa offers massages including back, couples, foot, head, and neck treatments. Game drives and guided day tours to Kruger National Park and the Panorama Route can be arranged at a surcharge. Walking tours are also available.
Near Kruger and Blyde
Bundox Safari Lodge is located on a small nature reserve near Hoedspruit, 50 km from Kruger National Park. The Kruger gates are a 45-minute drive away. The Blyde River Canyon is within an hour's drive. The lodge provides airport shuttle and transfer services.
Staff and Housekeeping
Daily housekeeping, laundry, and ironing are available. The lodge offers private check-in/check-out, a shared lounge/TV area, and 24-hour security with fire extinguishers. The staff is attentive and helpful. A torch is recommended for walking to the tents at night.
